On a cold November afternoon in 2004, something amazing occurred. Julie Mazzola, for the first time in her life, was not only on time—she was early… an hour early. This was a good thing since she brought Mike’s best friend, Steve Windsor, to Beth’s post-Thanksgiving football party. This allowed the soon-to-be couple time to get to know each other before the game started. Since they were on opposing teams, Steve decided to demonstrate his chivalrous nature by allowing Beth’s team to win. Well, that is how he tells the story. Beth thinks they just kicked butt.

     Steve asked permission to contact Beth, and after the first phone call, both Beth and Steve knew they were onto something good. Exactly one year from the day they met, Steve got down on one knee at sunset on a beach in Maui to ask Beth to be his wife. She accepted.

     On December 30, 2006, Elizabeth Rozanskas and Steven Windsor will be married at Gramercy Mansion in Baltimore, Maryland.
